Philo+Auto+Comm
This world is infinitely full of questions that demand answers. What is beauty? How is it identified and what makes it certain? Are there correlations between beauty, truth, and goodness? Further, where and how do ethics, logic, and knowledge come into play? The answers surround you. To find them, you must first visit the intersection that merges three majorly distinct—yet intertwined—components: Philosophy, Autobiography, and Community. Choose a direction, and go. All paths return to THE MERGE. From there, the answers will unearth themselves.
A Convergence of Realms:
Personal thoughts and feelings (philosophies) are often shaped by life experiences (autobiography) and surroundings (community). When the three join forces, awareness levels up. Sometimes we lean more towards one or the other in our understandings; however, they are each influenced by one another in some way. Think of the triangle on the logo above- the strength of the triangle is hard to beat in architecture and thinking alike. Weight is distributed evenly, making its power impenetrable. The same goes for the triad of insight—Philosophy, Autobiography, & Community—it contains remarkable elements that merely strengthen upon fusion.
Will you join me on a journey to find meaning by visiting each point on the triangle? Sometimes, I will favor one vertex while dodging the others. Often, they will intersect. Along the way, we can make our own assumptions. I am simply here to piece this together through applications of all three. Analyzing literature, life, and art via each lens will be our guide on this trek to answering many of the prior questions. Come on, don’t be a square!
Philosophy
Philosophy: let me break it down. It is a way of thinking that comes first AND last, always changing and ever evolving. Philo never stops begging questions. Our philosophies are often shaped by experience, be it personal, observed, or communal. Many times, the difficulty of sifting through the tiers of philosophical thinking comes from lacked experience and empathetic knowledge. To sort out what is good, true, & beautiful, one must directly experience each (and each’s opposite) in their entirety.
Answering Questions:
Autobiography
When breaking the word up into two, remember that auto is a reference to the self- it is an operation done individually—independent from other forces—while biography is the story that comes thereafter. Along this journey of life, we pick up and discard pieces that are relevant to our existence, ultimately creating our own story. What we do with these fragments as we add to our sense of self, often exudes through our philosophies and dealings with the atmosphere that envelops us.

Community
Community is another word that can be dissected to decipher meaning. Comm, derived from “common,” refers to a group of people with alike interests and values. It can also just mean similarly located, not necessarily alike in nature to begin with. Unity is just that, cohesive in type. Placing these two in harmony can be implied as a group of people having a camaraderie with mutual connections. These are found when common philosophies and stories merge, generating the triad of insight.
